Tourism Board hires new director

Kevin Manley is the new Executive Director of the Dubois County Visitors Center & Tourism Commission

The Dubois County Tourism Commission has hired Kevin Manley as its new Executive Director, effective May 23.

Manley, 56, brings extensive business and sales experience to the role. Kevin was previously employed by Kimball International for 36 years holding various positions and was most recently employed by Hedinger Beverage as a Regional Sales Manager. He is currently a member of the Jasper Common Council.

Manley states that he is looking forward to the opportunity to work with the local communities to grow tourism and feels that this area has so much to offer. He is very enthusiastic about expanding the initiatives that have worked well in the past while looking for creative ideas to reach an even broader audience.

Kevin and his wife, Diane, live in Jasper, and are the parents of three daughters, Rachelle Greener, Allison Schmitt, and Kara Docktor and have eight grandchildren.
