Timothy P. Dalton, 72

Timothy P. Dalton , age 72 of Jasper passed away at 4:15 a.m. Sunday (September 4, 2011) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born on December 4, 1938 in Hammond, Indiana to Maurice and Susan (DeVroe) Dalton. He married Patricia Smith June 1963.

He is a U.S. Navy Veteran and had worked for the Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad, he retired as mechanic where he worked on large machinery.

He is a member of St. St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Tim loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting, playing poker and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

• Wife, Patricia
• Three daughters, Tina Dalton, Cheryl Dalton and partner James Sanders, Mrs. Robert (Kelly) Maher all of Jasper, IN
• One son, Timothy Patrick Dalton and spouse Emily, Rolling Meadows, IL
• Four grandchildren, Morgan Dalton- Sanders, Killian Maher, Sullivan Maher and Josh Weidman.
• Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death is one sister, Mary Ann McCarter.

Funeral services for Timothy Dalton will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday (September 8, 2011) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at a later date.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
