Timothy Harold Terwiske, 67, Celestine
Timothy Harold Terwiske, 67, of Celestine, passed away unexpectedly at 3:15 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2022, at home.

Tim was born in Jasper on November 23, 1955, to Ralph and Roberta (Friedman) Terwiske.
He married Sandra Schulz on September 22, 1979, in St. Celestine Catholic Church in Celestine, Indiana.
He had a hard work ethic his entire life, which he carried on through his jobs. He owned and operated his own truck, worked construction, and worked for Schneider Sheet Metal. Most recently, he was a truck driver for Cave Quarries and was getting ready to enjoy retirement.
He attended St. Isidore Parish – St. Celestine Catholic Church.
Tim was a man of many talents and very meticulous; he did mechanic work, bodywork on vehicles and was always in his garage making sure the intricacies of every job were complete.
He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and had such patience in teaching and guiding them in many projects; he also loved spending time on the tractor and taking them on tractor rides. He and his wife were avid woodworkers, constructing many pieces together.
Tim was also a car enthusiast and in the past he was a stock car racer and loved working on his Corvette.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Terwiske of Celestine; three daughters, Abra (Matt) Eyler of Jasper, Tessa (Cory) Taylor of Jasper, and Gia (Craig) Maier of St. Wendel, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Noah and Camden Eyler, Rozzi, Olive, and Maxwell Taylor, Decker, Roman, and Tripp Maier, one sister, Mary Jane Budell of Dubois; five brothers, Gerald (Shirley) Terwiske of Dubois, Dennis “Butchie” (Diane) Terwiske of Dubois, Aaron (Wes Dillehay) Terwiske of Wickliffe, Alan “Gator” (Jan) Terwiske of St. Anthony, and Don “Bean” (Cindy) Terwiske of Dubois; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his father, Ralph Terwiske, his mother and step-father, Roberta and Sylvester Schneider, and two nephews, Alec and Brandon Terwiske.
A Memorial Mass for Timothy Harold Terwiske will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2022, in St. Isidore Catholic Church in Celestine, Indiana.
A memorial visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at the church on Saturday.
