Timbers of Jasper celebrating new Memory Care Neighborhood

Jasper — The Timbers of Jasper opened the Memory Care Neighborhood in their Jasper community earlier in December.

The senior healthcare community offers a variety of care options, including short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, respite care, hospice care, and outpatient therapy.

Adding a Memory Care Neighborhood is a testament to the Timbers’ ongoing dedication to serving its community.

The Timbers of Jasper is managed by American Senior Communities (ASC) and is located at 2909 Howard Drive in Jasper. ASC’s Memory Care Neighborhoods aim to provide a safe and enriching environment for those living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Residents and families can expect personalized care plans and a compassionate approach to ensure comfort and well-being.

“We’re excited to enhance our services and cater to the specific needs of individuals requiring memory care support,” said Beau Kellams, Executive Director at The Timbers of Jasper. “This expansion reaffirms our commitment to ensuring the highest quality of care for our community members.”

The Jasper Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, at 3 p.m. to celebrate the new addition to the Timbers of Jasper.

The public is invited to attend and participate in a tour of the newly opened Memory Care Neighborhood from 3 to 6 p.m. Every person who tours will be entered in a drawing to win a wonderful door prize. Plus, there are additional special prizes for the first 15 people to take the tour.

There will be opportunities to meet the team of memory care experts, including Medical Director Dr. Campbell. We’ll be serving various appetizers, desserts, and specialty coffee.
