Tillie C. Beckman, 98, of Dubois

Tillie C. Beckman, 98, of Dubois, passed away at 8:17 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2017, in The Timbers of Jasper Health Care.

She was born in Celestine, Indiana on February 2, 1919, to Joseph and Anna (Schnell) Heichelbech.  She married Raymond J. Beckman, October 2, 1940. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1997.’

Tillie was a homemaker her whole life.

She is survived by one son, Larry Beckman (Judy) of Dubois; three grandsons, Kent, Kurt and Scott Beckman; two great grandsons; step-great-grandson; one step-great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Edna Nonte of Jasper.

Preceding her in death besides her husband are three sisters, Alice Mathies, Irene Mathies and Frances Prechtel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 14, 2017, in St. Raphael’s Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Raphael’s Cemetery in Dubois.

Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time on Thursday at church.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, Dubois Fire Department or Dubois Community Park.
