Three arrested for meth-related charges in Jasper

On Tuesday evening three people were arrested after Jasper police responded to a complaint of a possible drunk driving south on U.S. 231.

Jasper Police Department officers located the alleged vehicle at the Dollar Tree parking lot on Jasper’s north side. Officers found the driver had a suspended license and determined the driver and

occupants possessed methamphetamine, a schedule IV controlled substance, precursors and paraphernalia. A police scanner was also located in the vehicle.

The group was arrested and lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
