Thomas E. Schipp, age 60, passed away at 10:00 a.m. Thursday (December 6, 2012) at his home.

He was born August 17, 1952 at Huntingburg, Indiana to Ambrose and Vivian (Jackson) Schipp. He married Glenda Mundy October 21, 1972 in Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper.

Tom had worked for Master Brand Corporation for over 40 years and also served in the Indiana National Guard.

He is a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church – American Legion Post # 147 in Jasper and the Jasper Moose Lodge #1175.

Wife, Glenda

One daughter,

  • Mrs. Brett (Marcy) Leuck, St. Anthony, IN

Two sons,

  • Jerrod Schipp, Jasper, IN
  • Aaron Schipp and fiancĂ© Jayna Lindauer Jasper, IN

Three grandchildren, Kyle, Quintin and Aryssa Schipp.

Preceding him in death besides his parents is one brother Bill Gehlhausen.

Funeral services for Tom Schipp will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday (December 11, 2012) in Precious Blood Catholic Church with burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Jasper. American Legion Post # 147 will conduct military grave side rites.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Monday (December 10, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.

Memorial contributions may be made to Precious Blood Catholic Church or to the American Heart Association.
