Thomas (Chris) Shreve, 72

Thomas (Chris) Shreve, 72, of Santa Claus passed away Sunday, March 29th in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born July 26, 1942 in Dearborn, Mich. to Tom & Marian (Potter) Shreve. He married Gloria W. Wollenmann on July 26, 1975 in Saint Ferdinand Catholic Church, Ferdinand.

Thomas was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Santa Claus. He retired from Abbott Laboratory in Logistic International Management. He graduated from University of Detroit High School, School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and received a MBA degree from University of Michigan. He was a veteran of the Air Force and served in government intelligence.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gloria W. Shreve, one host daughter, Jeanette Cepedes-Dufrene and husband Andre of New Orleans, La.; two grandchildren Gabriella and Rafel; stepsister, Susan Shreve of Michigan, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2015, in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. Burial of cremains will be in St. Ferdinand Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
