Third Avenue paving to begin Monday

The Jasper Street Department and JH Rudolph Paving Company will begin the paving process on 3rd Avenue, Monday.

Starting Monday, Oct. 6th, 2014, the paving process will begin on 3rd Avenue between the intersections of Brucke Strasse and State Road 164 and all the way to College Avenue and Liberty Street.

Weather permitting, the project should take approximately one and a half weeks.

Motorists will experience some delays in traffic and may want to utilize South Newton Street as an alternate route.

Just a reminder that the East 15th Street bridge is currently closed between Meridian Road and Cherry Street for a Dubois County Highway Department project.

Motorists are encouraged to use extreme caution in these construction areas for the safety of our workers, motorists and pedestrians.
