Third annual The Sky is the Limit special needs festival this Saturday, March 29

Differently Able, Inc. is gearing up for the third annual “The Sky is the Limit” Special Needs Festival and Resource Fair this Saturday, March 29, at the Huntingburg Event Center.

It runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. EDT and is packed with activities and resources for people of all ages.

Maleah Dearing, Founder of Differently Able Inc, created the event to provide resources and fun for families with special needs. The festival promises a variety of attractions: games, crafts, food trucks, and sensory-friendly activities.

Local first responders are set to make an appearance, and even Batman is expected to show up.

One of the highlights is a “bear hunt” activity designed to boost communication skills. Participants can collect signatures from volunteers wearing special stickers and trade them in for a teddy bear.

At its core, Differently, Abled Inc. aims to connect families with essential resources. The organization also goes a step further by providing Visa cards to help families cover travel costs when a loved one with special needs is in the hospital.
