Theresa Hathaway, 69, Princeton

Theresa Hathaway, 69, of Princeton, passed away Monday, January 6, 2025, at her home.

She was born December 18, 1955, in Huntingburg, to Robert and Louann (Altmaier) Haas.

Theresa had lived in Princeton and Oakland City most of her life. She graduated from Wood Memorial High School in 1973. She had worked at Nidec, which was previously Hurst Manufacturing for many years. Before that she had worked at Orion.

Theresa is survived by her daughter, Misty Cederholm (John) of Princeton; son, Christopher Hathaway of Evansville; her companion of 30 years, Percy Gooch of Princeton; grandchildren, Bailee, John Jr., Liberty, and Ethaniel Cederholm; siblings, David Haas of Huntingburg, Jerry Haas of Elberfeld and Veronica Upright of North Carolina.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and stepmother, Virginia Haas.

A funeral service celebrating Theresa’s life will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2025 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor D.V. Gooch officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until the service time on Sunday.
