Theodore D. (Ted) Boeglin, 18

Theodore D. (Ted) Boeglin, 18, of Jasper, passed away at 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, November 23, 2014, from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident north east of Jasper.
Ted was born on July 29, 1996 in Jasper to David L. and Mary Sue (Fleck) Boeglin.
Ted was a senior attending Jasper High School where he was a member of the Motor Sports Club and the Business and Professional Association. He attended the Pike County Precision Machining classes and was a member of the Machining Club. He was a former member of the Jasper Wrestling and Football teams and the Jasper High School Band.
He was member of Dubois County 4-H where he served as president of the Millennium Club and past president of the Hoppers Rabbit Club. He was a Junior Leader and was well known for his public speaking skills and rabbit breeding.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, pet animals, and spending time with friends and family.
Ted is survived by his parents, Mary Sue and David L. Boeglin of Jasper; one sister, Adi-Marie P. Harper and her husband Addison, of Jasper; one brother, Leo A.(LB) Boeglin and his wife Kari, of Winnemucca, Nev.; grandparents, Leo H. and Phyllis C. Boeglin, of Santa Claus; one niece, Adeline Harper and a future niece or nephew.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents Adeline and Aloysius (Ollie) Fleck and his dog Alvin.
Funeral services for Ted Boeglin will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2014, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
