Theda L. Wright, 92

Theda L. Wright, age 92, of Jasper passed away at 1:55 a.m. Saturday (February 18, 2012) at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born in French Lick, Indiana on January 10, 1920 to James Orville and Sarah (Miller) McDonald. She married Wayne Wright on February 5, 1938, and he preceded her in death on October 12, 2006.
Theda was a homemaker, and she worked at the Home Outfitters furniture store.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Jasper, where she was a deacon, and she was an Eastern Star member for over 40 years.
Her hobbies were quilting, cooking, crossword puzzles, and making cookies for the church.

Preceding Theda in death besides her husband is one son, Kenneth Wright, one sister, Lola May Wampler and two brothers, Laverne and James McDonald.
Funeral services for Theda L. Wright will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday (February 22, 2012) at the First Presbyterian Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. Rev. Larry Langer will officiate.
Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday (February 21, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, and one hour before services at the church on Wednesday.
