The Next Chapter named first awardee of Small Business grant from Indiana Fever and Old National Bank
The Next Chapter was named the winner of the first annual Indiana Fever Small Business Assist Program presented by Old National Bank last week.
The owners, Jeremiah and Erin Smith, have some ideas for how they will use the grant, but haven’t made those public.
The Jasper business shared the following on their Facebook page.
Remember that contest by the Indiana Fever and Old National Bank that we were finalists for, but didn’t even know we were a part of? Turns out, WE WON!!
This time, we got to take our entire staff up to Gainbridge Fieldhouse to celebrate! THERE ARE NO WORDS. An organization the WHOLE WORLD is watching is sharing about our humble little shop. That’s crazy. We’re nothing special, but something special is happening in our space. And we are more motivated than ever to live out our mission of being a light in a dark world, as flawed as we are.
We are forever grateful to our incredible staff (we wouldn’t be here without them!), the countless individuals who helped us open our doors in the first place because they believed in what we’re trying to do, and to the amazing community of Jasper and Dubois County. We have never felt such deep connection and community. THANK YOU!!
Also a massive shoutout (of course) to the Indiana Fever and Old National Bank! Your representatives were nothing short of INCREDIBLE to work with. And naturally, we have to thank WHOEVER it is that nominated us in the first place. What a GIFT!!
