Thadis Merle Mullen, 90, Jasper

Thadis Merle Mullen, 90, of Jasper, Ind., passed away on August 13, 2023.

He was born on February 22, 1933, to Owen and Edith (Stroud) Mullen in Mifflin, Ind.

Thad married Thelma Pauline Arbuckle on August 31, 1956.

He worked and retired from Schmidt’s Cabinets company in New Salisbury, Ind. Thad lived in Hardinsburg, Ind. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, music and visiting family and friends.

Thad is preceded in death by his parents; wife; and one sister, Norma Allen.

He is survived by one daughter, Paula (Mike) Brunnemer; three sons, Dale (Brenda) Mullen, Nelson Mullen, and Tim (Ruth) Mullen; one brother, Densile (Peggy) Mullen; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and again on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Love Funeral Home, Palmyra, Ind.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at noon.

Interment will take place in the Kays Chapel Cemetery in Fredericksburg, Ind.
