Terry L. Hentrup, 50

Terry L. Hentrup, age 50, of Jasper, passed away at 5:20 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2014 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, Indiana.

Terry was born in Jasper, Indiana on February 16, 1964 to Edward “Sparky” and Joan (Mendel) Hentrup.

Terry was an Independent Insurance Agent since 1982.

He was a graduate of the Jasper High School Class of 1982, a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church and their Precious Blood Men’s Club, and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He was an avid NASCAR, IU Basketball, Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan. He enjoyed playing cards, golf, and fishing.

He is survived by his mother, Joan Hentrup, of Jasper; and one brother, Wayne Hentrup and his fiancé Sandy Effinger, of Evansville.

Preceding him in death is his father, Edward “Sparky” Hentrup.

Funeral services for Terry Hentrup will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
