Terri Lee Bockting, 53

Terri Lee Bockting, 53, of Jasper, passed away at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2015, at home.

Terri was born in Huntingburg on November 5, 1961 to Robert Lee and Evelyn (Mc Glothlin) Houchin.

She worked as a nurses aid and a unit secretary for St. Joseph’s Hospital in Huntingburg and later for Memorial Hospital in Jasper. She enjoyed scrapbooking, and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her four daughters; Alicia Higgs of Huntingburg, Ashley Rasche and husband Andy of Crystal, April Underhill and husband Nick of Huntingburg and Sarah Conrad and husband Marc of Chicago; seven grandchildren, Tristan and Carson Higgs, Braden Rasche, Chloe, Sophia, and Jerica Underhill, and Oliver Conrad; one sister, Linda Hoffman of Jasper; three brothers, Robert Houchin of Manchester, Tenn., James Houchin and wife Wanda of St. Croix and William Houchin and wife Karen of Oden.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at the Jasper Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the noon service time at the church. Reverend Jason Throop will officiate.

Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper is in charge of arrangements.
