Teresa Janette Haake, 45

Teresa Janette Haake, 45, passed away on February 23, 2025.

She was born on April 26, 1979, in Bellflower, California, to  Ruthann Gonser.

Teresa graduated from Merritt Island High School in 1997 and spent her life surrounded by the people and things she loved.

A devoted wife, Teresa shared 19 years of marriage with her husband, Jason Haake.

She was a loving sister to Shawn (Lisa) English, Krista (Evan) Dilworth, and Melissa (Casey) Orton, and a cherished stepdaughter to Ronald Gonser.

Teresa’s deep love for family extended to her nieces and nephews, who will miss her dearly, as well as her in-laws Patrick and Donna Haake.

Teresa had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her beloved cats. She was preceded in death by her dear cats, Bonnie and Clyde, and her grandmother, Caroline and stepfather, Mark English and Hazel and Ron Stegelvik, along with her uncle Steve Stegelvik.

A kind and generous soul, Teresa will be remembered for her warm heart, her love of animals, and the joy she brought to everyone she met. She is survived by her family and many friends who will carry her memory with love.

A private family service will be held in her honor.
