Taco Bell shooting leads investigators to burglary suspect; Ethan Stout
The investigation into a residential burglary that occurred on July 28, 2011 has resulted in additional charges being filed against a Jasper resident who is already incarcerated in the Dubois County Security Center.

The residence located at 707 Poplar Lane had been burglarized and a large amount of jewelry, cash and other items had been taken. The majority of these items were recovered on August 6, 2011. Information leading to the recovery of these items was received by the investigator while questioning individuals involved with a shot fired complaint at the Taco Bell restaurant on August 5th, 2011.
The investigation into the residential burglary has continued and today information was sent to the Dubois County Prosecutor’s office seeking a charge of burglary, a class B felony and theft, a class D felony against 21 year old Ethan Stout of Jasper. Stout is currently incarcerated in the Dubois County Security Center for unrelated charges to this burglary (click here for that story).
