Suspected fentanyl, heroin and meth among items seized in Huntingburg drug arrest
Wednesday, a Huntingburg man was arrested on multiple preliminary felony counts related to dealing narcotics, including meth and fentanyl.
According to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office, the Huntingburg Police Department and sheriff’s office opened an investigation on Tuesday after receiving information that Jeremiah Tredway, 41, of Huntingburg, was dealing illegal narcotics.
After developing probable cause, investigators applied for and were granted a search warrant for Tredway’s residence on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Upon execution of the search warrant, officers seized multiple items from Tredway’s residence, including 33 syringes–one with suspected liquid heroin, three plastic baggies containing suspected heroin and fentanyl weighing approximately 3.9 grams, six plastic baggies containing suspected methamphetamine weighing approximately 14.8 grams, and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.
The items listed were seized, secured for evidence, and transported to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
Tredway was then taken into custody and transported to the Dubois County Security Center on the following charges: Level 2 felony dealing in methamphetamine; Level 3 felony dealing in narcotic drug; Level 3 felony possession of methamphetamine; Level 5 felony possession of narcotic drug; Level 6 felony maintaining a common nuisance; Level 6 felony unlawful possession of a syringe; Class A misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia; and Class B misdemeanor possession of a drug screen altering device. He is being held on a $30,000 cash bond.
