Suspect in Howard County murder/arson case arrested in Dubois County
Dubois County deputies arrested a suspect in a murder and arson case in Howard County after receiving a tip he may be in the area.
On Tuesday, deputies took Curtis L. Freeman into custody on a misdemeanor warrant out of Vigo County.
Freeman, described as homeless, was connected to an investigation into the death of Pamela K. Hunter, 73. Hunter was found dead in her burning home on County Road 300 South, just west of Kokomo. The preliminary cause of death, as determined by an autopsy, is consistent with blunt force trauma.
Freeman was seen in Orange County on Tuesday before being arrested in Dubois County. He has been extradited to Howard County, where he is in custody now. More on this story at the following link.
