Susan L. Frye, 51

Susan L. Frye, 51, of Birdseye, passed away at 3:09 a.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at her sister Rita’s home in Birdseye, Indiana, under the care of Gentiva Hospice.

She was born April 1, 1963 in Johnson County, Indiana, to Mary (Debord) Frye.  Susan was a furniture factory worker.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her best friend, Brandy Polen.  Susan was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Burchel Lovins.

She is survived by one son, Frank Frye of Greencastle, Ind.; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Bessie Peters of Franklin, Ind., Rita (Robert) Morrow and Phillis Frye, both of Birdseye; one sister-in-law, Bonnie Lovins of Whiteland, Ind.; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Susan Frye will be held at 6:00 p.m., EST on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg.

The service will be officiated by Marc Grimes.  Interment of her cremains will take place during a private committal service at Birdseye Cemetery in Birdseye, Indiana.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 3:00-6:00 p.m., EST Saturday, the day of the funeral.
