Susan Beier, 67, Fulda

Susan Beier, 67, of Fulda, passed away peacefully Friday, September 18, 2020, at Willowdale Village in Dale.

Susan was born April 14, 1953, in Huntingburg to August and Frances (Tempel) Krampe. She was united in marriage to Ronald H. Beier on September 13, 1980, in Saint Ferdinand Catholic Church.

Susan was a member of Saint Boniface Parish in Fulda and it’s Ladies Sodality. Susan worked at Mobel Furniture in Ferdinand for over 40 years. She then worked at Masterbrand Cabinets for three years, until her retirement. She worked part-time as a gate-house attendant at Lake Rudolph Campgrounds after retirement. Susan enjoyed camping and being with her grandchildren. 

She is survived by her husband, Ronald H. Beier, two sons, Brent (Kyla) Beier and Craig Beier, both of Fulda; four grandchildren, Rylie, Brexley, Avery and Nolan Beier; her mother, Frances Krampe of Ferdinand; one sister, Joan (Rick) Heeke of Ferdinand; three brothers, Steve (Sue) Krampe and Mark Krampe, both of Ferdinand, and John (Donna) Krampe of Evansville.

Susan was preceded in death by her father, August Krampe and a brother, Edward Krampe.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. CST Wednesday in Saint Boniface Church in Fulda. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. CST Wednesday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand.
