Superior Ag and Land O’ Lakes donate $20k to TRI-CAP Head Start

TRI-CAP is excited to announce it has received a generous grant of $20,000 from Superior Ag, with matching funds provided by Land O’ Lakes, Inc. to support nutritious meals for children enrolled in its Head Start Preschool Program in Dubois, Pike, and Warrick Counties.

This vital funding will help provide healthy, balanced meals to young learners, ensuring they receive the nourishment needed to support growth, development, and learning in the classroom.  For many families, these meals are a key part of their children’s daily nutrition and well-being.

“We are incredibly thankful to Superior Ag and Land O’Lakes for their generous support of our Head Start Preschool program,” said Molly Wuchner, TRI-CAP Head Start Preschool’s Director. “Their partnership helps us provide not just food, but the nourishment and care that set the stage for a lifetime of learning.”

“Superior Ag is proud to support TRI-CAP’s Head Start Preschool Program and help provide the building blocks for healthier futures,” said Richard Lloyd, CEO of Superior Ag. “Our cooperative values are rooted in strengthening our communities, and this initiative is a perfect example of how we can make a meaningful impact, especially for our youngest learners.”

TRI-CAP’s Head Start Preschool program delivers comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and family support services to low-income families.  The program empowers children to reach important developmental milestones and prepares them for long-term academic achievement.

Superior Ag, a farmer-owned cooperative based in Southern Indiana, partnered with Land O’Lakes, Inc. through its Member Co-op Match Program to double the impact of this grant and strengthen support for community-focused initiatives.
