Southridge Middle School Language Arts teacher Aaron Wiles portrayed Spider-Man hanging from the side of the Teen Outback to greet runners finishing the 1.5 mile fun run. During the run, runners also met up with other heroes like Batman, played by Emery Caldemeyer, and Catwoman, played by Lisa George, as well as real heroes, Huntingburg police officers and firefighters. The event had about 125 registered runners and raised about $2,500 for the Huntingburg Elementary R.I.D.G.E. program, the school’s program providing care for students before and after school.Liam Rauscher, 3, chased Logan Schilling, 4, at the end of the R.I.D.G.E.
