Summer reading program completions worth $2k for foster care program
The Jasper-Dubois County Public Library is challenging the community to complete 1,000 reading program completions by the end of the Summer Learning program (July 30) and they will donate $2,000 to Borrowed Hearts of Dubois County.
Borrowed Hearts of Dubois County supplies children and caregivers in the foster care program with necessary items and materials.
All ages are encouraged to participate and can do so by picking up a reading log at any of the libraries — Jasper, Ferdinand, Dubois, and Birdseye — or by downloading the Beanstack app and participating online.
Monetary donations are also being accepted at all of the library branches.
