Sue Ellen (Tisdale) Boyles, 58, Evansville
Sue Ellen (Tisdale) Boyles, 58, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at St. Vincent Medical Center.

Sue was born in Huntingburg, Indiana, on January 31, 1965.
She graduated from Bosse High School in 1983, attended Ivy Tech and graduated from the University of Southern Indiana.
Sue started her nursing career at North Park Nursing Home as a visiting nurse. She went on to become a vascular access nurse, working the remainder of her career at St. Mary’s and other local hospitals.
Sue was an incredible nurse who went above and beyond to care for her patients and their families. She was even the proud recipient of the Daisy Award, honoring her for her exemplary nursing service.
Sue had a wonderful sense of humor and was gifted with a deeply caring heart. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend.
Sue is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kevin Alan Boyles of Evansville; daughter, Kaeda Boyles (Michael Duck) of Evansville; sons, Kevin Boyles, Jr. (Wendy) of Evansville and Michael Boyles of Evansville; father, Eddie Devon Tisdale, Sr. of Dale; siblings, Eddie Devon Tisdale, Jr. (Tammy) of Petersburg, Elizabeth Anne Tisdale-Watts (Phil) of Seguin, TX, Waymon Wallace (Connie) of Corydon, Jimmy Atkins (Kim) of LaPorte, IN, Danny Atkins (Christi) of West Lafayette, Bonnie Peet of Maryland and Kellie Davis of Evansville; grandchild, Xander Nicholas Gulbranson-Duck of Tucson, AZ; by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; by her dear friends, Denise and Rhonda as well as many other close friends and co-workers.
Sue was preceded in death by her mother, Lanora Sue (McCandless) Kelley; stepfather, Benjamin Kelley; and by her stepmother, Justine Atkins.
A celebration of Sue’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711, with Pastor David Schulz officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. The funeral services will be streamed live at http://www.browningfuneral.com.
Friends may visit from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, December 4, 2023 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 9:00 am until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
