Student seeking help to attend special leadership forum
The family of a Northeast Dubois Junior/Senior High School student is seeking help to raise funds for him to attend a special Youth Leadership Forum at Yale University.
Ninth grader Teagan Freund received an invitation to attend the special forum taking place over nine days this summer through the national organization that has been holding these events for the past 40 years.
According to the family’s GoFundMe, Teagan is one of the most intelligent, curious, and driven young people I know. He asks thoughtful questions, thinks creatively, and already shows a strong interest in how ideas turn into real-world solutions. This program would give him exposure to college-level learning, leadership development, and mentorship — experiences that can truly shape a young person’s future.
The total cost of tuition, housing, meals, and program materials is $5,000, and the family is seeking assistance to cover some of these expenses. If you would like to help or learn more, please visit this link.
