Story on local doctor takes first place at Indiana Journalism Awards

We are honored to be a small part of the recognition Leann Burke received for her story on Dr. Scott Beckman.

Leann’s personal profile on Dr. Beckman took first place in the Indiana Chapter of The Society of Professional Journalists for online publications with a circulation of less than 10,000.

Online news organizations like ours are not eligible to submit stories for consideration in the annual awards. However, stories can be submitted by the individuals who produced them. Leann took it upon herself to submit this story, and again, we are honored to be a small part of the recognition she deserves for this wonderful story.
