Steven R. Deel, 75, Greenwood, Ind.

Steven R. Deel, 75, of Greenwood, Ind., passed away on Nov. 24, 2025.

He was born on March 10, 1950, in Huntingburg, to Goldie (Drake) and Desco Deel.

Steve was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Norma Jean Beaver, Marlene Elkins and Janet Thompson; and brother and best friend, Donald Deel.

He had worked in the construction industry, and his fondest memories were of his childhood in Crystal.

Steve’s survivors include brothers-in-law, Lester Beaver and David Elkins; nieces and nephews, Judy Dunlap, Doug Beaver, Lisa Watson, Patti DeVary, Carla Sloan, Jonathan Thompson, Mark Elkins, Susan Thompson, Matt Elkins, and Sandra Tweedie.

A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at noon at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Paoli Community Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood Village South, 183 S. Smock Drive, Greenwood, IN 46143.
