Stephen “Steve” Mark Tuttle, 75, Anderson

Anderson — Stephen “Steve” Mark Tuttle, 75, of Anderson, passed away on April 8, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson.

He was born on April 27, 1947, in Huntingburg, Indiana, the son of Kenneth and Lena (Fallis) Tuttle.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1969 and following was employed as a tool and dye maker with Guide Lamp for 33 years.

He was a member of Bethany Christian Church and was affiliated with Boy Scouts of America for 42 years, earning his Eagle Scout, Sagamore of the Wabash and Silver Beaver awards.

Steve enjoyed woodworking as a hobby.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy (Whitson) Tuttle, whom he married December 27, 1975; children, Kenneth (Megan) Tuttle, Christina (Jason) Swoveland, Troy (Julia) Tuttle; four grandchildren, Myah and Peyton Swoveland, Travis and Brandon Tuttle; and two great-grandchildren.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Annette Tolbert.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 6 p.m. at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service, with Bob Bell officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Bethany Christian Church or the charity of the donor’s choice.
