Statewide tornado exercise sounding sirens today

Today, between 10:00 and 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., the tornado sirens will sound across the county in conjunction with the Statewide Tornado Exercise.

March 20 through 26 is designated Severe Weather Preparedness Week throughout the State of Indiana and the sirens are being sounded as part of this.

The Emergency Management Agency is recommending families and individuals practice their emergency plans during the tests today.
