St. Mary’s Catholic Church to host annual picnic Sunday

Huntingburg–St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 317 N. Washington St., Huntingburg, will hold its annual parish picnic Sunday, Sept. 20, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Activities include live entertainment, a dunking booth, indoor bingo, and Chinese and silent auctions. Raffles include a $11,800 grand raffle with cash prizes, a handmade quilt raffle, a half pot, and a $250 cash grand raffle, with winners announced at 4 p.m.

Chicken or roast beef dinners will be served indoors, for carry-out, or drive-thru from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. ($15 for adults, $7 for children), alongside homemade chicken noodle soup, American and Latino food booths, and homemade soft-serve ice cream. A country store will also be open.

Mass will be held Saturday at 4:30 p.m. (English) and 6 p.m. (Spanish), and Sunday at 7 and 9 a.m. (English). There will not be a 12:30 p.m. Mass that Sunday.
