St. Joseph’s Hospital building up for auction (sold)

UPDATE: The property was sold, but the new owner’s information was not disclosed.

Interested parties can meet with the auctioneers today (Tuesday) at 2 p.m. at the former St. Joseph’s Hospital property to purchase the remaining portion of the hospital.

The auction company states that most demolition and preparation work has been completed and the buildings are ready for build-out. This property will be sold at absolute auction and to the highest bidder, regardless of price.

The auction includes two buildings: the remaining 74,068 square feet of the hospital and the St. Joseph Hospital Professional building located on the southern portion of the property adjacent to 17th Street.

Last year, the Huntingburg Council briefly discussed the potential sale of the property during a meeting.
