Spirit of Jasper season opens, offering quick family trips and baseball excursions

The first excursions of the season will be the new Family Quick Trips. These are perfect for anyone seeking family-friendly budget activities. In town for baseball or softball that weekend? Looking for a short and fun experience for your family or friends? We have the perfect excursions to add to your summer plans. The Family Quick Trips are set for June 21 and July 19.

Ride times are one hour in length and depart at 10:00 am, 11:30 am, and 1:00 pm from the Jasper Depot.

Then, climb aboard the Spirit of Jasper Train for a trip to the Bombers Baseball game on June 28. The train will depart from Jasper Depot at 5:00 pm Eastern time, and pizza will be served en route to Huntingburg. Travel in comfort in climate-controlled cars. A cash bar is available onboard. Watch the game from the first base side in chairback seating.

When the game ends, the train will return guests to the Jasper Depot.

Cost is $55/person, which includes train ticket, game ticket, and pizza.
