Spencer Hoffman, 28, Haysville

Spencer Hoffman, 28, of Haysville, passed away on Sunday evening, March 6, 2016, at home.

Spencer was born in Jasper, Indiana on October 26, 1987, to Brook and Jane (Perkins) Hoffman. He married Jennifer Thompson on October 25, 2013, in Paoli.

He was a mechanic for JJ’s Auto in Haysville. He was a member of Jasper Outdoor Recreation. He enjoyed working on cars, and riding off-road vehicles.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Hoffman of Jasper; one son, Sawyer Hoffman of Haysville; two stepsons, Blake and Trenton Robling of Jasper; parents, Brook and Jane Hoffman of Haysville; one sister, Kayla Hoffman of Haysville; maternal grandparents, William and Elizabeth Perkins of West Baden; paternal grandfather, Roger Hoffman of Haysville.

Preceding him in death was his paternal grandmother, Phyllis Hoffman

Funeral services for Spencer Hoffman will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper with burial to follow at Haysville Community Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for his son Sawyer Hoffman’s college fund.
