Spencer County teen LifeFlighted from Memorial after ATV accident

Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an ATV accident that resulted in a Spencer County teen being LifeFlighted to St. Marys Medical Center on Monday.

Tyler Luecke, 15, of Evanston Indiana was operating an ATV at his residence in Spencer County when for an unknown reason he was ejected from the ATV and suffered a head injury. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

He was transported by a family member to Memorial Hospital in Jasper and later transported to St. Marys in Evansville.

TLuecke was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Responding agencies included Indiana Conservation Officers and St. Marys Life-Flight.

Injuries do not appear to be life threatening and the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
