Speed limit to be reduced on Huntingburg’s 19th Street

Effective Monday, April 11, 2016 the speed limit on 19th Street between CR 400 and Woodland Drive will be reduced to 25 miles an hour, per City of Huntingburg ordinance chapter 74, schedule VIII, sub-paragraph A.

According to Street Department Superintendent Jason Stamm, when the area was annexed, the speed limit was not changed. Now that it is a city street, it will need to be updated to the city’s requirements regarding speed limits in town.
