Southridge sectional championship still on

A notice from Southridge Athletics and Southwest Dubois County School Corporation:

The Indiana State Department of Health has designated Dubois County as “Red” per the COVID-19 Indiana County Guidelines.

As a corporation, we are in constant communication with Dubois County
Department of Health and will continue to monitor school and community data.

Currently, there is a lot of false information and rumors floating around. At this time, there are no changes to our athletic practices and events. Practices will continue as planned with the current guidelines in place and Friday Night’s Sectional Championship game against Salem will continue as planned Friday at 7:30 p.m. EST.

As directed by the Dubois County Health Department, we will be submitting a facility plan by venue for our winter athletic events for their approval. We have an approved plan for Friday Night’s Football Game and will proceed with those guidelines and our plan.

Please check our athletic website, southridgeathletics.com for updates during this fluid time.

Thank you for your help as we continue to navigate this current environment and your continued help, cooperation and support, so we can continue to enjoy our education based athletics.
