Southridge finishes fall semester virtually
In light of recent data regarding COVID 19 in Dubois County, Southwest Dubois County Schools went to an e-Learning format on Thursday and Friday, December 17th and 18th.
Students will participate in their classes by going to their teacher’s Google Classroom at the beginning of each class period at their normal time throughout the day. The teacher will provide directions for their lesson from there. If your student was not in the building at the time our announcement was made, or needs to pick up materials, students can stop by the school to pick up their textbooks or computers as needed.
For those who do not have internet access, we will open our library during Impact and 4th period, which is from 10:40 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days. Students must provide their own transportation and remain socially distanced and wear a mask at all times while present. This will allow them to communicate with their teachers and to download lessons or turn in assignments as needed.
A free take-home breakfast and hot lunch will be provided on both Thursday and Friday for any person age 18 and younger from 11 to 12:30. Meals can be picked up at door number 9 which is near the cafeteria entrance on the west side of the building.
High school athletics will continue as scheduled at this time. Any changes or updates will be communicated by the coaching staff of that sport.
We again want to take this opportunity to thank our Raider students, staff, and families for their hard work and cooperation throughout this semester. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season.
