Snow day fun

ByMatthew Crane Reading Time: 2 minutes
Khloe Terwiske and Addison Deich crashed after being pushed down the hill by Matthew Haag (green) and Kendall Racicot (on ground). In the background, Kendall’s brother, Kage played with his sled.

Area schools went from a two-hour delay to a full closure or e-learning day after snow blanketed the county overnight.

Of course, we took some photos of kids sledding.

Matthew Haag snowboarded down one of Buffalo Trace’s hills.
Father and daughter, Ben and Sophie Gates, raced down the hill.
Porter Lorey crashed while cutting sledding paths down the hill next to the Jasper Water Tower.
Zeke Knies, 9, played in the snow on the sidewalk across the street from his home while waiting for his sister to go sledding at nearby Buffalo Trace Golf Course.
