Sisters of St. Benedict to Hold Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening for Relocated Gift Shop

Ferdinand–The Monastery Gift Shop of the Sisters of St. Benedict is holding a ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony on Saturday, October 10 at 11:00 a.m. EST to celebrate the Gift Shop’s new location.

It is now located in the space that had previously served as our Alumnae Center on the south side of the main
monastery building, and has its own exterior entrance as well as access from inside the monastery.

The Gift Shop will also offer in-store specials and giveaways all day, as well as a huge clearance sale.
Refreshments and cookie samples from the Monastery Bakery will also be available for customers. The ceremony
will be conducted by the Dubois County Chamber of Commerce, and representatives of the Sisters of St. Benedict
will cut the ribbon and officially welcome the Gift Shop to its new location.
