Sisters of St. Benedict to hold Laudato Si’ Rosary

The Sisters of St. Benedict will be holding a Laudato Si’ Rosary in honor of Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’ – Care of our Common Home. On Wednesday, May 20, at 7:00 p.m., the Laudato Si’ Rosary will take place in the Lourdes Grotto on the Monastery grounds in Ferdinand. There is no charge to attend, and refreshments will be provided afterward. In case of rain, the event will be held in Alumnae Hall.

Laudato Si’ Week is May 17 through May 24. This week is part of the Sisters’ ongoing engagement with the Laudato Si’ Goals: to care for our common home; to respond to the cry of the poor; to engage in ecological economics; to practice ecological spirituality; to participate in ecological education; to adopt more sustainable lifestyles; and to support community resilience and participatory action.
