Single vehicle crash results in fatality near Holland

The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed a crash involving a semi-tractor-trailer has resulted in the death of the driver.

Deputies, along with volunteer firefighters, emergency medical services, the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, Dubois County Hazmat and the Holland Town Marshal, responded to the single-vehicle crash south of Holland on State Road 161 near County Road 1025 South at about 5:30 a.m.

The road has been closed while the investigation and cleanup were underway.
