Shirley R. Vogt, age 75 of Jasper passed away at 6:09 p.m. Wednesday, (February 22, 2012) at her home in Jasper. She was born at Cincinnati, Ohio on May 26, 1936 to Clifford William and Viola (Tenhundfeld) Ragland. She married Michael Vogt July 7, 1956 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Shirley was a home health care giver and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharist and a Stephen Minister for many years and Blessed Virgin Sodality of Holy Family Church in Jasper. Also past president of the Jasper Deanery of National Council of Catholic Women. Past president of the Tri -Kappa Sorority, and St. Gabriel School PTA in Cincinnati, OH.  She was an avid Bridge and Rum Card player.

Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death is one grandson, Jonathon Underwood and brother, Paul Ragland.

Funeral services for Shirley Vogt will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday (February 25, 2012) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.  Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Friday (February 24, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to a favorite Charity.
