Shirley L. Schepers, 69

Shirley L. Schepers, age 69, of Celestine, passed away at 11:18 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

Shirley was born on February 12, 1944 in Celestine Indiana to Martin and Lucille (Loechte) Hasenour. She married Herb Schepers on May 30, 1964 in St. Celestine Catholic Church in Celestine, Indiana.

She was a homemaker and also worked for the Dubois County Recycling Center.

She was a member of St. Celestine Catholic Church in Celestine, Indiana , St. Ann’s Sodality, the Celestine Community Club, and the “Our Precious Angels” Support Group.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death is one son, Brian Schepers, and one sister, Judy Stemle.

Funeral services for Shirley Schepers will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday (July 17, 2013) at St. Celestine Catholic Church in Celestine, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday (July 16, 2013) at Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. The St. Ann’s Sodality will pray the rosary at 1:45 p.m.
