Shirley Ann Bell, 62, Huntingburg

Shirley Ann Bell, 62, of Huntingburg, passed away on March 20, 2024, in Jasper.

She was born March 26, 1961 to Jack Lee and Rae Inez (Webster) Bell in Mountain Home, Idaho.

Shirley worked as a special education teacher for the Southwest Dubois School Corporation for many years. She was a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Winslow Lodge 2646.

During her life, she had many hobbies, such as crafting, watching ghost television shows and HGTV, listening to music, and held a special love for cats. Above all, she especially loved working with the children as a special education teacher and being with her family and friends.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Brittney Bell; grandchildren, Ayden Bell, Brayden St. Clair, and Braylen St. Clair; her father, Jack (Diane) Bell; a brother, Bill Bell; and several nieces and nephews.

Shirley is preceded in death by her son, B.J. Green; her mother, Rae Inez (Webster) Bell; her companion, Dennis Keith; sisters, Nina Mathias, Debbie Bell, and Trina McClain.

A Celebration of Life will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. EST at the Spurgeon Park Building on Sunday, April 7. The address to the location is 11010 S. St. Rd. 61 Spurgeon, IN 47660.
