Shiloh UMC collecting supplies for flood relief
Shiloh United Methodist Church is collecting Flood Bucket supplies to help in the relief effort taking place in various parts of our country.
Working through UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief), the supplies will be sent to places affected by severe flooding. Supplies at the Midwest Distribution Center of UMCOR have been depleted due to multiple flood sites around the country.
If you would like to donate supplies, a Jasper Engines semi-trailer is parked on the church parking lot for your donations. A flood bucket includes the items listed below. You can donate a completely filled bucket or individual supplies. The trailer will be open Wednesday, August 31 thru Wednesday, Sept. 7. Hours are: Weekdays 11 to 7 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 9 to noon.
