Sheriff’s Office investigating thefts from church parking lot

The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in the investigation of thefts from vehicles at St. Mary’s Catholic Church that occurred Sunday.

Police say two purses were taken from vehicles between 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. while the victims attended the church service. Police later located items belonging to the victims on County Road 400N near Kellerville Road and near the Patoka Lake dam.
