Shawn Ray Masters, 40

Shawn Ray Masters, 40, of Otwell entered into rest at 8:45 p.m., on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.

He was born February 16, 1975 in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Joe and Brenda Sue (Cook) Masters.  He married Samantha Renee` Ingle on May 13, 2000 in Washington, Indiana.

Shawn worked as a radio advertising and marketing representative. He was a member of the Daviess County Chamber of Commerce and the Moose Lodge in Washington. He was an avid drummer and loved music.

He is survived by his wife, Samantha Renee` Masters of Otwell; two daughters, Arial Nichole Masters and Maggie Sue Masters, both at home; his parents, Joe and Brenda Masters of Velpen; one sister, Shanna Jean Masters Hallett of Velpen; and by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services for Shawn Masters will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Velpen.

Pastor Darin Nossett will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and also from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday prior to the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Nass & Son Funeral Home.
